La Gallouette

La Gallouette *** campsite is a family run establishment with 183 flat, grassy and shaded sites and 8 chalets and 17 mobile-homes for holiday rentals - all of which are equipped with a television, barbecue and a set of garden furniture. There is also a heated swimming pool made up of a large pool and a paddling pool; a play area; a sports ground; a games room; a small shop with a bar; a laundrette with 2 washing machines, 2 spin driers and sinks and 3 toilet blocks including one with facilities for the disabled. The campsite also has internet access.

 

There are two parking areas for camping cars.
There is an inner area which is open from 4 p.m. to 11 a.m. and offers a broad range of services. The outer area, which has a Raclet service terminal, does not enable access to the campsite itself. Camping cars can therefore stay on a traditional site for several days.

 

In the high season an activity leader is available to look after the children and different entertainment is organised.

 

The campsite is on the coast in the cul de loup cove, near to the famous Hougue tower in the French department of the Manche, Normandy. It is only 300 meters from the town centre and a bustling port, where entertainment is provided by the local fishermen as they unload their daily catches. At low tide, beachcombers are in their element.
